When you sign up or use CallSharp, we collect:
- Your name, email address, and business information
- Phone numbers (yours and your customers') for call routing
- Call recordings and transcripts (used to power your AI receptionist)
- Appointment and booking data entered during calls or SMS
- Payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we never store card details)
- Usage data (call minutes, SMS count) for billing purposes
2. How We Use It
- To operate and improve the CallSharp AI receptionist service
- To send you notifications about calls, bookings, and leads
- To process your subscription and billing
- To send transactional emails (appointment reminders, account alerts)
- We do not sell your data to third parties
3. Your Customers' Data
CallSharp processes your customers' phone calls and SMS messages on your behalf. You are responsible for informing your customers that calls may be handled by an AI system. Customer data is stored securely, scoped to your account only, and never shared with other contractors or third parties.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following trusted services to operate CallSharp:
- Twilio — voice calls and SMS
- Vapi.ai — real-time AI voice processing
- OpenAI — AI language model for SMS responses
- Supabase — secure database hosting
- Stripe — payment processing
- Vercel — application hosting
- Resend — transactional email delivery
Each of these services has its own privacy policy and data processing agreements.
5. Data Security
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to contractor data is strictly isolated — no contractor can access another contractor's data. We use row-level security on our database to enforce this at the infrastructure level.
6. Data Retention
Your account data is retained for as long as your subscription is active. After cancellation, data is retained for 30 days before permanent deletion. You can request immediate deletion by contacting us.
7. Your Rights
- Access or export your data at any time
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and data
- Opt out of non-essential communications
